Our world is not only shifting so quickly, it is running at a speed where we barely have to time to catch up to ourselves. At this speed we naturally grow blind spots. My devotion lies in finding these blind spots. As you make changes to better understand yourself, your child or your mate, I will be there with you on your journey to ‘change lanes’ and help you find a pace where you can breathe and enjoy it. This is about you and what matters to you.
As a parent, teacher, consultant, and volunteer, I wear some of the very same hats as you. Whether you are a parent, individual, couple or student, you naturally find yourself with many commitments, choices, and responsibilities. They either pull you down or lift you up. It’s my job to clear the smokescreen that prevents you from seeing what is working and what is not. As someone who works in the field of mental health, I take that seriously. Very seriously.
My love of working with people started at a very young age when I was a lifeguard, skating instructor and soccer coach involved with the youth of the 80’s and 90’s. When I finished my degree I instinctively and spontaneously moved into the field of education working as resource personnel both at elementary and secondary levels. This lead to training at the Montreal Children’s Hospital in psychiatry where I began to spread my wings with increased fervor for helping ease people’s lives. Despite all my professional training, as a mother I struggled to fully grasp the innate nature of some of my very own kids. This put a new thrust in my life where I grabbed the reins of the re-emerging studies of developmental attachment that is now a huge part of my teaching portfolio. I am not done in my learning, but with 10 years in consulting I continue to bring what I like I most to my clients, and that is an unfettered opportunity to look at themselves, or others, from the inside out and easing their day to day living.
My passion is your discovery. So let’s do this. Let’s make it all about you.
